Coming Soon: Heart and Home

From the moment Janice McCarty set her sights outside of Sonesville in the sixth grade, she couldn't shake the dust of the small town she hated growing up in fast enough. Now twenty-six and already one of the highest paid journalists at the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, it's only a matter of time before she is sitting in her boss's seat and living the life she thought she always wanted. Then the call came in the middle of the night that sent her spiraling in a daze back to Sonesville.

For the first time in eight years, Janice is home, not to visit, but to help her father lay her mother to rest. The circumstances couldn't be worse as Janice discovers the people of Sonesville (who are quite content with their noses smack dab in the middle of everybody's business,) seemed to know her mother better than she did. Feeling alienated from the place she once called home, former football hero and local farmer, Troy Kepner, starts turning up every time Janice finds herself in need of a knight in shining armor. Drop dead gorgeous and with a heart bigger than anyone Janice has ever known, Troy's been down the road she's on, and gave up his education and a chance to play professional football when his father died and left him in charge of the family farm.

A week with Troy complicates her adamant plans to run back to the safe and anonymous city, where the only people who know her name are the ones who read her byline in the paper. To make matters worse, her mother's restless spirit seems to have no intention of letting go until she finds a way to convince her daughter that home is where the heart is.

Expect the Unexpected

What can be expected from Dragon's Gold Publishing? That's a very good question, indeed. Alahna loves romance, and as we so aptly pointed out in our introductory post she seems to be on a quest for happily ever after.

And who else is more aptly in search of a happy ending, you ask?

Newlyweds--many of us step back and look upon them with cynical bitterness, knowing in our blackened hearts that their bliss is only temporary. We often secretly whisper to our friends in the wedding party, the bride included, that the honeymoon phase won't last, and sooner or later she and the groom will be just like everyone else.

When Nate and Stacey discover the last stop on the honeymoon they didn't even have any say in is a clothing optional bed and breakfast (located on a gorgeous strip of private beach, might I add,) they don't think they can tough it out together. And when their fellow guests, seven-year married coupled Gabe and Patty, start issuing the same warnings to enjoy it while it lasts, the Richenbaums take matters into their own hands, discovering the limits of their comfort zone as a couple and deciding that whatever they have to face, they'll face it together--because that's what marriage is all about.

Well, that and all the steamy, delicious and seemingly never ending sex.

To find their happily ever after, Nate and Stacey will need to be vigilant in their exploration, determined in their experimentation and willing to cross a few lines in order to prove that they call the shots on their future, and no one else has the right to tell them what to expect from their life together.

Clothing Optional, which is now available for the Kindle, Nook, Kobo Reader and a variety of other devices thanks to Smashwords, isn't exactly a fairy tale, which Alahna is ever so fond of writing, but it is definitely all about true love.

Available for just $2.99, we recommend you turn the air conditioning up just a smidge because these Newlyweds can't keep their hands off each other.

Welcome Travelers

I am the great dragon, and I will be your guide on the long journey that lies ahead. What journey, you ask? Why the journey to find true love and happily ever after, of course. The path to such places is lined with all kinds of dangerous things, like good intentions, for example, and bitterness designed to turn the heart sour against love.

But we will be brave, my friends, and we will endure until we find the place where dreams come true. All you have to do is take my  hand.
