Clothing Optional Audiobook Coming Soon

Production on the Clothing Optional audiobook is in the final stages. The voiceover artist I have been working with, Chandra Skyye, uploaded the files this weekend and I'm going over them this morning to approve them. It sounds great, and I'm excited. Can't wait to share this with everyone!

I will keep you updated on the progress, and let you know when it's available for purchase.

In the meantime, you can pick up an eBook copy of Clothing Optional for just $2.99 if you're interested. Here's a synopsis and the links for where it's available on the 'net.

When Nate and Stacey discover the last stop on the honeymoon they didn't even have any say in is a clothing optional bed and breakfast (located on a gorgeous strip of private beach, might I add,) they don't think they can tough it out together. And when their fellow guests, seven-year married coupled Gabe and Patty, start issuing the same warnings to enjoy it while it lasts, the Richenbaums take matters into their own hands, discovering the limits of their comfort zone as a couple and deciding that whatever they have to face, they'll face it together--because that's what marriage is all about.

Well, that and all the steamy, delicious and seemingly never ending sex.

To find their happily ever after, Nate and Stacey will need to be vigilant in their exploration, determined in their experimentation and willing to cross a few lines in order to prove that they call the shots on their future, and no one else has the right to tell them what to expect from their life

Heart and Home Audiobook is Under Way!

I'm really excited to announce that the audiobook for Heart and Home is underway. I've been chatting back and forth with voiceover artist, Sarah Pavelec, and she will begin recording the first fifteen minutes of audio this weekend.

Making an audiobook takes a lot of time, and with Heart and Home coming in well over 23 hours, it may not be available until mid to late November, but it's something to look forward to!

I am also anxiously awaiting the print edition, so I can inspect it and make sure it's ready to go. Here's hoping that will be available by next week.

In the meantime, you can check out Heart and Home on your eReader, tablet or mobile phone app* for just $4.99!

Clothing Optional Audiobook In Production

A quick head's up to let everyone know production for the Clothing Optional Audiobook has started. We are hoping for distribution sometime in early November. In the meantime, if you haven't already done so, you can download my first erotic offering, Clothing Optional, which is available for just $2.99 in a variety of electronic formats!

When daydreaming about her honeymoon, Stacey pictured long romantic walks along white, sandy beaches in Waikiki with her husband Nate and fruity drinks with pink umbrellas beneath breezy cabanas built for two. Her mother-in-law, however, has something else in mind when she promises to make sure they embark on a honeymoon they won't soon forget. And for the most part, a two week hop from one coastal California bed and breakfast to the next turns out to be more romantic than Stacey expected.

That is, until they arrive at their final destination only to discover themselves booked at a quaint little clothing optional bed and breakfast.

Stacey's pretty sure she can't stay in a place where people walk around in the nude, even if there is only one other couple booked for the weekend. The very notion of such a place even existing makes her head spin, but when she starts reflecting on the reason her mother-in-law might have sent them in the first place, she finds herself daringly braving new waters with the man she's promised to spend the rest of her life with, for better or worse.

Sneak Peek Friday: Heart and Home by Jennifer Melzer

Janice McCarty was pretty sure she had her life together. The perfect job, friends and coworkers who didn't dig into her personal life and just enough distance between her and the small town she grew up in to make her feel like she was actually free.

Then her mother died, bringing her back to Sonesville and throwing everything she thought she had figured out into the wind and scattering it like so much dust. She's no longer sure she made the right choices, and the lack of close, personal relationships in her life suddenly feels lonelier than ever.

But her mother hasn't really left her, not yet. Chandra McCarty isn't going anywhere until she convinces her daughter there is more to life than deadlines and detached relationships. Her ghost has no intention of letting go until Janice finally realizes home isn't just where she lays her head, it's where her heart is.

About Heart and Home by Jennifer Melzer

I wish I could say Heart and Home was a direct byproduct of losing my mother, but the truth is I started writing it in 2006, the year I graduated from Bloomsburg University. It was the first time I'd ever participated in NaNoWriMo, which at the time seemed like a ridiculously silly thing to do, especially considering I was literally about four weeks away from graduating college. But I had a fabulous writer's group in my corner, and it was going to be fun.

It was actually a lot of fun. As I started writing, I immediately fell in love with Janice, my main character. She was smart, a little tired, but she seemed to know exactly who she was and what she wanted from life. As the words flew from my penny pencil... wait, sorry, I lapsed into A Christmas Story for a second there... As the words flew from my fingertips, I found myself falling in love with Troy Kepner, alongside the few friends in my writer's group who were reading chapter by chapter as I posted the first draft on our site.

And then life happened, as it all too often does. I graduated, found myself overwhelmed with freelance work and the 70,000-some words I wrote between November and January got pushed aside. I started working on other projects and nearly forgot it existed until my laptop took a dive last fall and I realized it wasn't saved on any of my thumb drives.
